Dengue fever of 102 since 6 days
Hi ,
My brother is having dengue fever since 6 days.
Fever has not come down and is between 100-102 and platelets are at 47k
Is having fever in dengue for 7 days common ???he is hosptilised currently
47 k platlet is very low .

Platelet countvto be monitored.
Platelet transfusion will be required ID count goes below 10K or there is bleeding
Persisting fever can be seen afterv7 days also.
Fever is the body response against an infection.
