This time I can read the colonoscopy report clearly — the doctor's diagnosis is 'Rectal ulcer likely SRUS' (Solitary Rectal Ulcer Syndrome), which is a benign (non-cancerous) condition associated with straining and digital evacuation. This is not cancer. The biopsy has been taken and histopathology is awaited, which will give the final confirmation. This diagnosis is much more reassuring than a malignancy.

Cancer diagnosis can be confirmed or excluded only by biopsy.
