My son is suffering from common cold and cough he is having fever local doctor Told not to worry but my question is can we use wet clothing to reduce the temperature.?

Tepid sponging can be done over forehead ,palm and soles if fever After 30 minutes again check tempreture.If it's above 99.5 then take antipyretics.consult on telemedicine with pediatrician.
