Hello sir, Though the lesion in the picture appears very hazy, given the region and history, it could be an aphthous ulcer or traumatic fibroma. A clinical examination and assessment of lymphnodes for involvement of any would give a better insight on the diagnosis.

Though the pic shared is not very clear ,it looks like a traumatic bite causing erythema and ulceration. Gels like kenacort/rexidine will reduce inflammation but unless the cause is dealt with ,it will not resolve completely. Please see a dentist for proper clinical examination ,doesn't look worrying but get it checked.
