Can widal test confirm typhoid?

We had a positive widal test and doctor started treatment for typhoid. No fever, only weakness and some pain in stomach is there.

No, widal is not confirmatory test. If you are testing withing 1 week ,high chances are it will come negative even if you have typhoid.
