Can BP patients take covishield

Hi sir I am suffering from hypertension from Last year present using Amlocop 50 mg tab can I  take covishield vaccine,my present readings are 131/87 maximum it goes to 165/101,so please suggest.

Hypertension which is under control after medications is not a contraindication for CoViD vaccination. Do continue your medicines. Are there any other medicines apart from Antihypertensives. If no, then you may proceed for the vaccine.

Yes hypetertensives can take the vaccine. However get consulted for your htn as it is above 140 even after treatment. Take Care
