Brown discharge post cervical stitches

Hi doctors. On Jan 5 th I had cervical stitches procedure. Post procedure for 5 days I was on antibiotics and taxim tablet. Last week I had brown discharge. Yesterday as soon i got up also I had a brown discharge and it stopped. Again today as I woke up I got brown discharge. Cervical stitches were done because mine was ivf twin pregnancy. When I checked with my doctor, he said it's normal not to worry How long does this keep repeating..am getting scared. Y does brown discharge happen. Any reason. Please suggest

It should not last more than a week after the stitch is given.
