As everyone said it’s important to change position every 2 hrs If affordable use air or water bed Keep the area dry it’s not just buttock , but back of head , elbow , shoulder and heel are the areas more prone so take care keep looking

Turn him towards one side and the other every 1hour or so.keep the area dry and Apply sterile pads available in any pharmacy as dressing to provide cushion .replace his bed with an air bed if possible available in any surgical store. At red ulcer part 6) massage with home telcom powder over normal area surrounding ulcer
