Back pain Radiating to left leg..tingling sensation over the leg..since last 5 yrs Does epidural steroid injection releive the pain.? is it very painful.? For how long it is effective.?

Hello Practo User, Any kind of injection or medications are only going to relieve your pain temporarily. What will you do if the pain comes back again? Proper clinical examination, diagnosis and treatment of the problem is essential.

For effective of injection it depends on how much nerve compression is there . Before any comment needs more details on history and MRI imaging
