All the symptoms you are experiencing warrant a proper clinical assessment and diagnosis. At this point, it does seem possible that ADHD could be contributing to what you are going through. However, more important than simply arriving at a diagnosis is developing a good intervention plan.
The goal would be to understand your specific difficulties, reduce the impact of your current symptoms, and help you build strategies and support that enable you to become more reasonably functional and experience greater ease in your everyday life. A diagnosis can provide clarity, but the intervention is what helps you move forward.
Next Steps
I'm a clinical psychologist with an M.phil degree. CBT, DBT, schema therapy and trauma informed is my approach. I think we can work together to help you address the issue, break the current maladaptive patterns and introduce new plans that can help you get started to be more functional.
