Asthma wheezing query

I had asthma with wheezing in childhood. Also I used Budecort 200 daily and Asthalin during S.O.S. But I left the use of inhalers gradually. Now I do get wheezing kind of cough (may be max 5-6 times of year. But is it adviced to start inhalers again or not? I don't want to start inhalers again

definitely yous should start inhalers again..its the safest medication for asthma,once proper control is achieved inhalers can be stopped also. consult a pulmonologist for further myth break.

Yes It might be moderately persistent bronchial asthma Which is getting exacerbated these days because of various issues like allergen,pollen,foods,addiction,and infection like viral .

Bronchial asthma has a variable course. Aa you described you had bronchial asthma earlier then there are high chances that these symptoms are of bronchial asthma. Need proper evaluation for the condition. Aa per current recommendation inhalers are the best medication available for bronchial asthma so if it comes to be asthma then you should take inhalers again

Since when you are having cough and wheezing? Other than present symptoms do you have, chest tightness? Sputum ? Get Pulmonary function test done. If inhalers are mandatory you have to use.

Yes can, but it depends on your PFT findings.. First diagnosis is to be made again.. You can take anti allergic to see the effect.. But always better to consult first properly .. consult a Pulmonologist.
