Antibiotics should not be started without knowing the exact cause of infection. For many conditions (viral fever, cold, sore throat), antibiotics are not required and may cause harm.

Usually antibiotic not needed for viral fever. It subsides on its own within a week or 10 days. Only thing needed is to keep fever controlled.
Take paracetamol 500mg every 6 to 8hours for 3 to 4 days. In case of high fever, tepid sponging can be done for few minutes.
Tab multivitamin one morning and one evening for 10 days.
Take healthy, nutritious diet, drink more fluids.
Get cbc done and share result.
Drink plenty of fluids.

Don’t label your fever as having viral etiology.
Kindly upload all your symptoms in detail- like any associated sore throat, cough, running nose, headache, red eyes, joint pains, pain abdomen etc

Antibiotics are not needed for viral fever.
Fever can recur for 2–3 days in viral illness.
Rx:
Tab Paracetamol 650 mg every 6–8 hrs if fever
Plenty of fluids
Light diet
If Fever >3 days, severe body pain, vomiting, rash then testing needed.
