Its been 6 weeks so ideally the injury should have healed completely if you had rested well and followed your physio advice. But if the pain is still there, then u need to get yourself examined again. Your ankle is still not recovered yet hence it pains. You must have developed lot of tightness and weakness around the ankle which needs to be addressed.
Next Steps
Consult a physiotherapist, get your ankle assessed and seek appropriate advice. Start with a good rehabilitation program to help reduce pain and develop adequate strength, flexibility, balance and proprioception.
Health Tips
*Do cold compress over the painful area *Wear a good ankle brace while standing and moving around to support your ankle *Wear sports shoes for better stability *Do not ignore the problem because it will be difficult to resolve it later and the chances of re-injury increase. *You need to be extra careful if you are overweight
