Hiii As i can see ur Hb is around 9 Would suggest oral iron prescribed by your doctor if u are not able to tolerate it then we can switch to injections . But the effect of iron therepy is same on body irrespective oral or injectable We only prefer injectable when the patient is not able to tolerate oral therepy. Hope the information was useful

Your CBC results show lower hemoglobin mostly iron deficiency. At this time you don't need any injectable iron, rather oral form is good enough.Consider doing serum iron profile to confirm iron deficiency.

Hello, I am Dr. Romain Rajan, General Physician. I understand your concern. ➡️ Low hemoglobin (9.1 g/dL) with small, pale red blood cells suggests iron deficiency anemia, which is common in women trying to conceive. General Advice: Take an iron-rich diet: green leafy vegetables, dates, jaggery, pomegranate, beans, lean meat. Combine iron-rich foods with vitamin C sources (like lemon, orange) for better absorption. Avoid tea/coffee immediately after meals as they reduce iron absorption. What to monitor: Improvement in energy, reduction in fatigue and breathlessness. Regular follow-up blood tests (Hb, ferritin) every 4–6 weeks. Watch for constipation or stomach upset with iron supplements. Medicines: Usually, oral iron supplements (ferrous ascorbate/fumarate + folic acid) are started first. Injectable iron is considered if oral iron is not tolerated, not effective, or if rapid correction is needed (very low Hb or urgent fertility procedure). When to consult doctor immediately: Severe weakness, dizziness, or fainting. Persistent vomiting, black stools, or abdominal pain with iron tablets. No improvement in hemoglobin after 1 month of treatment. If your symptoms persist or worsen, I strongly recommend consulting your fertility specialist for proper evaluation and tailored treatment. You can connect with me directly on Practo or reach me on WhatsApp (85271646 seven seven) for a more personalized consultation. Best regards, Dr. Romain Rajan General Physician
