Malaligned teeth are difficult to clean with a normal toothbrush.  So get your scaling done from a dentist and afterwards plan for your orthodontic treatment  ( braces). As because of your age,  you may find it difficult to go with a normal braces ( metallic / ceramic),  so explore options like invisible aligners ( Invisalign,  clearpath etc) .  They are absolutely invisible and you will be more confident while wearing them.
