Alzheimer medication
My mother had a fall and fractured her Right femur.During her stay at the hospital she was also diagnosed with Alzheimer. After surgery she is bed ridden and at home. The doctor had initially recommended Donep 5 mg and Lonazep .25 mg. Due to fracture she is not in a condition to be taken to the doctor. Should this medicine be continued ?

It is always better to consult the doctor who prescribed the medicine even if you are not able to take the patient, you can go and discuss the issues with the doctor and take help. Donep is a medicine given to prevent worsening of dementia. Lonazep is a sleep aid medication.
