How effective are allergy shots for asthma or immunotherapy for asthma, will it fully cure or ease the symptoms of asthma like it didn't even exist , my doctor prescribed me and how long will it take to see the results of allergy shots , the course duration is 5 years.

Hi better go for optimized medical therapy .Allergic shots and immunotherapy are not cure for asthma they using when medical therapy fails to control symptoms in selected patients.

It takes minimum 9 months to see its effect’s. Generally its a last resort when medical therapy fail’s. Its not 100 % curative. It some people symptoms recurr after stopping
