Allergic Rhinitis and low FEF25-75
Hi doctor, I read in patients with Allergic Rhinitis FEF 25-75 in PFT report will be low or impaired. I have allergic Rhinitis from last 5 years but didn't take treatment. But I have also smoked for 12 years 15 cigerettes a day. "Compromised FEF25-75% is frequently observed in patients with bronchial hyper-responsiveness in asthma or allergic rhinitis." My PFT details: FEV1: 81% FVC: 92% FEV1/FVC: 91% FEF 25-75: 46% Will this be progressive or If i take treatment for Allergic Rhinitis there is a possibility of reversal? I have stopped smoking from three months
