Besides Antihistamines, nasal spray giving relief for sometime. Is it advisable to take long term nasal spray? Pulmonologist suggest 2-3 months of Foracort inhaler use. These are effective in short term or long term?

Need to take the sprays and inhalers intermittently when there is more symptoms and also intermittently oral steroids in low doses when the symptoms are severe. Avoid exposure to allergens

Steroid nasal spray or Steroid inhaler should not be used intermittently when symptoms are increasing.
It should be used steadily, long term, in a tittering lowered dose till it is stopped. In that way it gives you proper relief of symptoms.
