The options are many, depending on the severity of crowding and your bite pattern. If it's minor crowding, instead of ortho treatment you can opt for cosmetic correction with the help of composite or porcelain veneers. If it's severe, you can opt for ortho treatment and there are many choices in that.
A thorough evaluation and discussion with your dentist will help you with the pros and cons of each.
Hope this helps
Would highly recommend Clear Aligners as the orthodontic treatment of choice. Obviously we would need a lot of clinical evaluation. May take upto a year. Plz send ur intraoral photos. Feel free to consult Laser Smile Care Centre anytime. God bless u.
There are few options for the correction of crowding, you can get a cosmetic treatment done or get braces.
Can you send a picture of your lower teeth than one can suggest you which treatment will be best for you.
It is common to have mild crowding in the lower teeth.
If you wish to correct this issue you can do so by orthodontic treatment.
If the crowding is mild the treatment could finish in as fast as 6 months.
If the crowding is moderate it may involve slight trimming of the front teeth to gain space so that the crowding can be relieved and this would take around 8months.
But If the crowing is more it could involve removal of one or more teeth and the treatment would take around a year to complete
Orthodontic treatment is a complex and advanced set of treatment and I suggest you visit an orthodontist for the same.
He will also let you know the various types of methods in which this can be corrected and with the improvement in technology you will be spoilt for choices.
