There is definite relapse!!
Teeth keep drifting with time ,so retainer is advised, to prevent relapse.
If you are not keen on orthodontics again, you could go for veneers/ crown ,but that necessitates tooth preparation ,for a perfectly healthy tooth

Hello sir , there is no need for fixed orthodontic treatment in this case .
You can get a removable orthodontic appliance although patient compliance is quite necessary when you get the removable appliance.
Next Steps
Visit your nearest dental professional who will guide you through the treatment plan after performing a clinical examination.
Hello,
If it's only one tooth, you could consider removable orthodontics which is less expensive than braces/ aligners but patient compliance is very very important in this case
Next Steps
consult with the orthodontist for removable orthodontics
Health Tips
Whichever option you choose, do go for a fixed retainer after treatment.
Also get your wisdom teeth checked. sometimes it's the pressure from wisdom teeth that creates the malalignment
Hello,
This is very common as teeth tend to go back to its original position if the retainer is removed. We always advise all our patients to go for a fixed retainer or if it's removable then to wear it often. The duration is lifetime.
Now you have two options, either check for removal orthodontic therapy to fix the alignment or aligners or fixed orthodontic therapy- these can be easily advised by an orthodontist, feel free to book an appointment.
The condition you described is called as Relapse. We can correct it in small time with aligners and then you have to wear retainers for some period to avoid this happening again.
Itâs quite common for a tooth to shift slightly after braces if a retainer wasnât used long enough or if the bite settled differently once treatment ended.
The good news in most mild cases, correction is simple and doesnât require full braces again.
Here are the usual options:
Minor tooth movement aligners:
A short course of clear aligners (3â6 months) can realign a single or few teeth precisely. Much faster and more comfortable than full braces.
Removable active retainer:
In some cases, a spring retainer can nudge the misaligned tooth back to position in a few weeks.
Composite reshaping or bonding (if mild rotation):
If the tooth is only slightly out of line, a cosmetic reshaping or edge correction can visually balance the smile without orthodontics.
You can visit any dentist for a quick evaluation if itâs a minor relapse, itâll be fixed faster and cheaper than a full treatment.
Health Tips
Once corrected, always wear a night retainer to prevent relapse.
Is would be better and you will get best result with either braces or aligners for a shortest time of approx 2 months minimum. After which you can just wear retainers.
Removable device can also help you but will take a longer period of time alongwith lot of compliance from you.
Next Steps
Consult an Orthodontist
Health Tips
If not opting cor any further treatment atleast for meanwhile take retainer so that the condition doesn't worsen up more.
