The treatment will depend on how much alcohol you drink, frequency, duration and also if you have any other problems apart from alcohol like anxiety or depression etc. You will be given a detox course following which a long term maintenance program will be developed for you depending on multiple factors. Please consult a psychiatrist online or in person.

Quiting alcohol for a while and again starting  is something that everyone goes through. People quit many times before they are finally able to give up drinking. Thats the normal rule of recovery. Make sure you consult a Psychiatrist and go for regular follow ups. Keeping in touch with your doctor is very important. Take one day at a time. Go for counselling sessions where you will be taught different techniques to control the urge to drink. Find out which situations make you drink and make adequate plans to deal with them. Recovery is a journey, not a destination.     All the best.
