Alcohol, hypothyroidism
Hi, I'm suffering with hypothyroidism , can i still take alcohol? And if I can, which is more suitable and suggestible? I'm on 50 mcg medication already. And what precautions should I take if I'm going to take alcohol ? It's been more than 4 years i haven't had alcohol , but I want to have it occasionally and please mention the quantity i should take which is healthy in limit. Can i mix it with fruit juice or anything else , vodka, whiskey which is better or another which shouldn't affect my thyroid please help me. If anything happens I'm curious because I never had it when I got hypothyroidism. But before I had couple of times. Answer me please

There aren't any specific guidelines for alcohol for patients who are on thyroxin. Alcohol is best to be avoided. If u take it, take in moderation.
