By the history looks like he is dependent on alcohol. Whenever a person who is regularly drinking alcohol stops suddenly he develops withdrawl symptoms like shaking, sweating, disturbed sleep etc. Initial few days of medications will be required to stop these symptoms.once he is out of the withdrawal phase we have to evaluate and based on that treat further either with counseling or medications.
Health Tips
sometimes withdrawal can have seizures and behavioral disturbances
