Hi First of all congratulations on having a baby. Losing weight after delivery is a difficult task. You have to deal with loose skin and maybe even cellulite. It’s difficult to give a full diet chart without proper knowledge of your diet and lifestyle habits. However for you I would suggest you follow the following tips based on your need 1. One of the top points you need to maintain is to try and have less than 20 grams of added sugar per day. Which means not more than two teaspoons of sugar per day. Please note added sugar is the table sugar we have in our home. I do not mean the natural sugars present in fruits and vegetables. For different foods you can add stevia and sugar free in your foods. (No they are not harmful for your health) 2. Since your skin will be loose you need to take very high dense fibre foods. You need to have at least 2 to 3 portions of dark green/any coloured vegetables per day which help you your skin gain back the elasticity and help you tone your body again into shape. You can also take flax seeds and chia seeds in your food. They are a good source of fibre and healthy fats. 3. Have walnuts in the morning which will give you a dose of good omega 3 fats and this will help you avoid the cravings of sugar throughout the day. 4. Once you are physically active, start doing moderate workouts like walking, basic yoga and resistance training. You can do all these at home as well. 5. Also personally I would recommend you use a body cream around your waist and hips to regain skin tone. 6. Include some form of protein in every meal you have. If you are vegetarian beans, nuts and legumes (dals) are a good source. For non vegetarians egg whites, lean cut chicken or fish.
Health Tips
Please consult your doctor for the extra vitamins and minerals your body needs right now for your body recovery from pregnancy and keeping the baby healthy. I wish you all the best.
