Hello. I got Hepatitis like 1.5 years ago and I had a blood test and got result today says that I got positive for Hepatitis A type IgG.
I have a really close friend who has Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia, and he is doing chemo treatment at the moment. I heard from him that his immune system is very low all the time.
I am scared and worried if my Hepatits A would ever affect him or not. And the doctor who gave me blood test result kind of didn't care or listen to what I say.

As long as your Hepatitis A IgM is negative then you don't have anything, the IgG is the titre present from your previous infection. You can visit your friend without any fear.
Nothing to worry about
I want your detailed history..
I don't want to treat you blindly without knowing the cause of the problem.

Hello dear patient you need not to worry about it as igg positive denotes previous infections. It's the igm which says that infection is current. So regarding further queries you may consult me. I will talk to you and help you with this problem. Tc
