I have pain near my tailbone area muscles or bone, I am not sure about whether its coming from nerves or the tissue or something, and its there since many months.
Xrays and ultrasound were normal.
I know MRI will provide me with appropriate answers, I have a prescription for mri as well, however, I read about sacral chordoma and that is making me so afraid that i am not going for mri.
I am afraid about what if the MRI results show chordoma! I am just 27 and i am scared if it turns out to be that, my life is finished. What should I do? I am an over anxious person regarding these things.
Please guide me in this regard, how to deal with this situation

Fear is usually an obvious first response but not a solution. Don’t worry. Tailbone pain may have many simple causes related to posture or ca deficiency or many other reasons. Pls consult a doctor and follow their advise.
