In my opinion both has equal importance. However a Psychiatrist can confirm the diagnosis and advise medications as well. If the diagnosis is confirmed then you can also go for dual therapy.
Psychiatrist is a medical doctor who has done specialization in Psychiatry
Psychologist is one who specialises in therapy and counseling
Both are equally important in their own fields
