Adverse effects of CT scans
Can there be any adverse effects on breasts in females if they undetake 2-3 hrct thorax scans ? Is it definitive to see any consequences later in life ?

2-3 HRCT scan radiation does not affect much. It depends on level of radiation and duration of exposure. Dont worry.

Normally, it is OK.But, it is better to have scan,only if it is indicated.pl consult pulmonologist with detailed history and reports and treatment taken for better evaluation and treatment.

Hi There is no definite number as such. Varies from person to person and indication for scan What was the reason for taking hrct scan and what was the interval between each scan
