Adult Circumcision due to phimosis
Urologist suggested a circumcision due to phimosis for my father who is 73 years old. Who is better, Conventional surgery under LA or Laser surgery? Doctor suggested conventional method of cutting skin but dint talk anything about laser surgery. He said it needs to be done mainly for hygiene purposes and to avoid any infections that might happen(no infections so far) due to age and diabetics. Both the methods, I understand it's a day care procedure. My father is diabetic since 26 yrs but under control(HBA1C is 6.6) and BP as well. He is fine with any method, but wanted to know that advantages and disadvantages of both the methods and what is suggested and recommended. Thanks in advance
