I understand your concern. It is however unclear how you were diagnosed with add. More clarity is needed regarding your problem to decide on the severity of your condition. Even depression or thyroid abnormalities can cause difficulty in focusing. Don't worry it is not your fault, it is the hormonal and chemical fluctuations in your brain as a result of stress which is taking a toll on your mental health. It is easily manageable with appropriate treatment, so that dysfunction due to the same can be reduced and your quality of life will improve. Unfortunately these medicines are not available over the counter and you need to consult a psychiatrist for the same. Some counselling sessions along with medical help might be useful for you. I would also be more than happy to help you with that if you are looking for online assistance. Discussions will be held confidential. You can directly consult with me through Practo as needed. Online chat consultation is also available.

I am not aware of medication that might be helpful, as that is not my specialty. However, I would recommend using the pomodoro technique with increasing time limits. Although the technique calls for 25 minutes of focussed work, you can begin at as low as 5 minutes. You can learn more about the Pomodoro technique by following this link. https://cirillocompany.de/pages/pomodoro-technique Hope this is helpful.

Perhaps, trying mindfulness exercises or meditation will help you. You could use mindfulness apps such as simple habit, cure.fit, headspace or other apps available. It is also advisable to consult a pscyhiatrist before taking any medication, and to make informed decisions regarding medication.
