Adenoid-Can we avoid surgery with medici
My child 5.5 years old have ear pain with freq once in 3-4 months. We consulted 3 ENT spec @ based on Audiometry/Impedence most of them were suggesting surgery to remove adenoid & putting grommet for fluid. We still want to avoid surgery looking at his age and want to know when do we say that pain is "seviour" or freqency is "higher" worth surgery?

Because your child has recurrent ear ache and as they told that fluid is there in ear, better to go ahead with surgery, otherwise he may lose hearing.
