Having red spots on my face Doctor suggested me Saslic ds Nadibact cream Minoz er 45 Tretiva 20 But after eating the tablets my lips became dry and cracked...the same thing happened to me 6months ago when I took tretiva...Is it normal that taking isotretinoin causes such thing or it is side effect ...Should I take it or leave it bcuz doctor is out of town for weeks

Acne or  pimples... Due to hormonal changes..Oily skin causes it...Common in adolescent age...May occur in adults also.. Food like Oily foods, ice cream, chocolate and sweets increase it.. Treatment depends on the grade of pimples or acne..So, please  send photos by direct online consultation as it's a must to see which grade of pimples or acne for accurate diagnosis and treatment.

Treatment for acne is isotretinoin. More so in resistant acne not responding to antibiotics and topicals. Having dry chapped lips is an expected side effect, so kindly use a lot of moisturizers on lip and drink a lot of water . If still persisting you’ May also ur dermatologist for a topical application for lip that can help you with the irritation on lips and nose. But nothing works like isotretinoin is a fact.

Stop tretiva for few days. Put lots of moisturizer. When u restart start with 10 mg tretiva only.
