Hi, I have acne scar on my cheeks and forehead. It is due to acne on my face. Presently there is no new acne since one year, but only scars. Scars are red in color and appears very deep ( like cut mark). I am looking for a solution to remove the scar and have a normal skin as in my rest of face. I have visited some doctors but they suggested different treatment depending upon facilities present in their hospital such as Chemical pealing (but later I came to know that chemical pealing do not have any effect on acne scar), Dermaroller, co2 laser resurfacing etc. Kindly suggest me what will be best for me. If required I can send photo of scar also and visit any place in India for guaranteed treatment.

There are a variety of treatments available for acne scars, including LASERS, dermarollers, subscision etc., depending upon the type and depth of scars. Chemical peels do work for acne scars - mostly superficial. Combination treatments work best because of multimodal approach.
