One or two pimples before periods is all because of harmonal changes . U can cut down on high carbohydrate diet and indulge yourself in some physical activity.. Yes tretinoin 0.04 %will help in reducing it but it's little irritant in nature so consult ur doctor before using it.

Treatment depends on the grade..Acne or  pimples... Due to hormonal changes..Oily skin causes it...Common in adolescent age...May occur in adults also.. Food like Oily foods, ice cream, chocolate and sweets increase it.. Yes tretinoin 0.4% will help but might cause some reactions. So better to not apply without consulting dermatologist in clinic. Also, cut down on your salt, junk food, chips sugar, etc . Start exercising.
