Hi doctors, I'm a T1D and I'm also on antidepressants... I had some mild post-acne marks which were very mild, so I searched about it and after talking to Al, I started using 10% azelaic acid and 5% benzoyl peroxide. The azelaic acid was making my skin itchy, but I continued using it. I was also using it randomly rather than following a proper routine. The benzoyl peroxide caused me some peeling and tiny bits of skin coming off. I have stopped using both, my acne pains and now I have stopped but my acne seems to be getting worse.. I'm only using SPF 70+ sunscreen. Please advise me on what I should do and what this could possibly be? I just want to know what it is and if it needs immediate care, I'll consult a dermat. Thankyou for your valuable time doctors

Acne or pimples... Due to hormonal changes..Oily skin causes it...Common in adolescent age...May occur in adults also.. Food like Oily foods, ice cream, chocolate and sweets increase it.. Treatment depends on the grade of pimples or acne..So, please send more photos by direct online consultation as it's a must to see which grade of pimples or acne for accurate diagnosis and treatment.
