Acl Reconstruction
I have had an injury to my right knee and it is advised that i should undergo an acl reconstruction surgery as i have completely broken my acl . Do any other options are available as i have read on internet that surgery is not very effective and has certain probability that the adverse effects will be seen in the future with or without surgery. Please suggest what i should do.

How old is the injury? Acl reconstruction surgery is an effective procedure and will allow you to regain your regular activities as soon as possible. Technical have been improved drastically over the last 2 decades... I would recommend to go for reconstruction. Delaying it for years can lead to articular cartilage loss and you are too young for that.
