How to proceed after ACL reconstruction surgery? I'll be undergoing ACL reconstruction soon and my friend also had the surgery a few months ago but somehow he contracted an infection after the surgery so he had to undergo the surgery again and because of that he still has problems in walking, climbing stairs etc.
Should I be worried?

Infection is a complication that can occur after any surgery though the chance of contracting it in an arthroscopy case is very less. The doctors take necessary precautions to avoid that, still the risks persists.
