Acl reconstruction and reduced leg size.
Sir it's been 20 days of my ACL SURGERY using hamstring (Autograft). Partial meniscectomy(MEDIAL) is also done . Now as I can observe my cured leg has drastically reduced in size (diameter wise). Now it look so weak and thin. Is that normal?? How much time will it require to regain it's original diameter. Calf's diameter and rigidity is reduced

After the ACL tear knee cannot take heavy load hence muscle start becoming week as they are not used as they were before. And after surgery activities are limited till graft heals, all together makes muscle go waste and leg becomes weak. Hence post surgery after healing is done rehabilitation is very important Hence you should do good exercises to regain the bulk and strength
