ACL Post OP Surgery
Hey, i had my ACL surgery 9 days ago. i couldn't exercise my knee for the first week because i was ill. Now i've started to straighten my knee a bit. How long should i wait before i put weight on my knee. i want to walk soon but i'm worried that i did no exercise the first week.

Hello, don't worry about ur first week exercise. Now you are fine then start your ACL rehabilitation exercise under the guidance of physiotherapist. If you have enough will power then you start early weight bearing on your knees..

Hi you can start putting weight as advised by your surgeon and use the knee brace if given. Do quadriceps and hams strengthening exercises. Do knee bending upto 45 degrees and gradually increase upto 90 in two weeks. Take help of a good physiotherapist. In
