ACL injury needs appropriate time to heal even if operation was performed. It depends on how much time has lapsed after the surgery. Normally partial squatting is started after 3 months of rehabilitation which is slowly progressed to full squatting after 6 months. Jumping is high impact activity which is started only after 7 to 8 months. Depending on these timeframe slowly the healing also occurs as the load is increased on the ligament.
Next Steps
Do not hurry into doing these activities. It will gradually start. You will need specific exercise to prepare yourself for these activities which can be done under guidance of your physiotherapist.
Health Tips
Avoid doing these activities independently without supervision.
