Abscess on finger
I am a 30-year-old female.
Three days ago, I developed an abscess on my fingertip. It is causing me pain and discomfort.
Is there any ointment that can help?
I am currently 20 weeks pregnant and do not want to take any medication. I am already taking Folic acid and other vitamins as prescribed by Gyno doctor. Earlier this month, I also received a tetanus shot as per government guidelines for maternity care.
I am looking for a non-medicine external solutions, such as ointments or band-aids, to help with the quick recovery of my finger sore.

Can you suggest any ointment?

Suitable treatment for the paronychia shown in the picture is surgical drainage.You can try applying fucidin cream or bactroban along with some analgesics.

You can drain the abscess with any doctor close by. Or apply fusidin cream. Take dolo 650 mgs for pain as needed ( safe in pregnancy )
