Hi, Vitiligo is an auto immune disorder which results in destruction of skin pigment thereby causing the appearance of white patches on the body. It can be segmental meaning it involves one side of the body or non-segmental meaning it affects both the sides. Depending on the predilection it can affect different parts of the body.
