It is better to tell your Sonologist before getting the scan that you are interested in finding out whether you are pregnant or not.
When you go for the scan of the whole abdomen then your Sonologist may not devote more than a minute or two to scan your uterus.
But if you go for the sonography of the lower abdomen then pregnancy can't be missed.
