About unborn baby's head
I am 27 weeks pregnant, yesterday I have done my scan and doctor told me that the baby's head is 2 weeks bigger than the gestational age, i was taking progesterone injection once a week because I had a miscarriage earlier, doctor told me to stop taking the injection as she said that the injection is the reason for baby's head becoming big, please tell me what should I do so that my baby's head grows normally and doesn't increase more than the gestational age...please help

Hi there, First thing you need not worry. Progesterone injection will not increase the head size. But you should stop the injection now. 2 weeks difference is acceptable. Nothing to worry at all. Most of the times it's because of baby's head position that the head looks big. So don't worry. Get another ultrasound done at 32-33 weeks.

2week different is normal. Inj progesterone don't cause increase in growth of baby head particularly. U can stop talking injection if no bleeding or any other symptoms.. Do periodic check up.
