There are two ways in which you can get immunization against Tetanus. One is by taking three doses of Tetanus Toxoid , first dose on any day, second dose 6 weeks after first dose, and third dose 6 months after second dose
After that you get booster dose every 5 years.
Second method is by taking a dose whenever you get injured.
I feel the first schedule is better. You can keep a track. Whenever you get injured next time and take Tetanus Toxoid, consider it as a first dose and then proceed from there. After taking third dose you remember or note down the date and take a booster every five years.
