If retinal tear or macular hole is find in eye then it is comes under pathological myopia ???please suggest

Hello retinal degeneration changes due to high myopia make it pathological Retinal tear or macular hole are not exclusively due to high myopia...these may be seen in emmetropes but yes....if these are associated with high myopia then its suggestive of pathological myopia
