Dry macular degeneration
I am Velmurugan from CHENNAI After college I am doing textile business for 6 years  ... For past one year I am facing black outs if I focus a particular place/ book / face ... So I went to a reputed eye hospital ..they took a retinal photo and a retinal scan and found out its a dry macular degeneration ... But the doctor told it has no remedy or solution.. They told you have to live your life with it ... I am just 28 now , can someone please help me to find any kind of solution for this dry macular degeneration... I have also attached the scan reports Please help me out please doctors .🙏

There is no treatment. But se that you have Regular check ups at frequent intervals.pl consult Retina specialist.

Usually, DRY ARMD happens in old age as the name suggests after 50 to 55 years of age. From the OCT, I can make out that you have foveal atrophy which currently has no treatment available. For further details, you can consult with a nearby retinal specialist.
