Get a xray then get clinical examination get root canal if teeth  can be saved or else extract it. As per the swelling of gingiva please get checked source of swelling and get it treatted.

Hello You cannot leave it as such. Even if there is no pain os discomfort, it is a source of infection in your mouth and you need to get it properly checked. Otherwise you will end up loosing your tooth.
