No need for both medicines together. Instead modify your diet- bland diet and avoid caffeine/ chocolate. And also get evaluated for the severity of Acid reflux disease and gastritis- by Endoscopy if symptoms are severe enough. There could be few conditions where medicines role is limited and surgery will be the only solution like Hiatus Hernia etc.To diagnose conditions like Hiatus hernia- Endoscopy may be needed. But it is needed only if your symptoms are persistent even after taking medicines.
Next Steps
If severe and persistent symptoms- Endoscopy
Health Tips
Modify your diet- as advised
